# robOS

> robOS installs next to Claude Code (the Claude program that works with the files on your computer), on Windows or Mac. Claude remembers your rules; robOS puts a barrier where a mistake would cost you a lot. It stops expensive steps before they happen, usually keeps a copy before a file is replaced, puts the right notes in front of Claude before it answers, and asks for a check on important work. It also brings a long-term record of your work, ready-to-use working methods, brand context, scheduled automations and a separate workspace for each client. Built and used daily by Adrian Ulmeanu (RoboMarketing, 30+ years in IT and automation). One-time purchase, no subscription. The site is bilingual: Romanian (default) and English (/en/).

Name: robOS (lower-case r), made by RoboMarketing for Claude Code. It is not related to RoboOS, the open-source robotics framework, or to other AI products with a similar name.

## Why it exists
- Claude's memory is the sign; robOS is the barrier. Claude now remembers what you decided and how you like to work, but remembering a rule is not the same as following it every time. On July 31, 2026, Claude deleted one of Adrian's files although the rule "ask me before you delete anything" had been in front of it for months.
- Anthropic's own documentation describes the preferences you give Claude as instructions it follows, and says that a guarantee needs a rule set in the settings. robOS gives the rules that matter that kind of barrier.

## What robOS does
- Stops expensive mistakes: when Claude tries to delete your client folders, your company profile or your notes, robOS stops the deletion before it happens. Everything else carries on.
- Keeps a copy: before a file is replaced, robOS usually keeps a copy you can take back.
- Puts the right note on the table: you mention a client you once wrote a note about, and robOS puts that note in front of Claude before it answers you.
- Checks before it writes anything important: for important work, its rules ask Claude to check every claim, to compare quotes with the source word for word, and to hand the text to a second AI that looks for mistakes. When it lacks a tool for what you asked, it says so instead of improvising.
- Not a course and not a pile of skills scraped off the internet: it is a practitioner's daily work tool on top of Claude Code, shipped ready to use.
- On your advertising budgets it does not act on its own: it shows what it would change and why, then you decide.
- Where your data goes: your notes, rules and company profile live in ordinary files on your computer. What you write to Claude and the files it uses in the conversation go to Claude, as with any work with it. A tool you connect yourself (for example one for images) receives what you send it for that job. The robOS server only checks the license and the computer it is activated on; it does not receive your company's content.
- No lock-in: all notes are plain Markdown files that open directly in Obsidian as a valid vault (links and graph included), and existing Obsidian/Markdown notes can be imported at setup. You can leave anytime with everything.

## Who it is for
- Yes, if you work for several clients or on several projects, already use Claude or want to work with it, want what you work on today to still be there in three months, and have rules to follow (checks, brand voice, approvals).
- No, if you only use Claude for quick questions, expect results without giving any direction, or don't want to work with Claude.

## robOS Team (collaboration add-on)
- robOS itself is single-operator. robOS Team is a separate add-on that connects several robOS installs so an agency works on the same clients: the same brand voice, the same notes, the same working memory, synced through a server the agency owns.
- Each person still needs their own robOS licence; Team sits on top and changes nothing about how robOS works solo.
- Shared per client: brand voice, notes, working memory, deliverables. Private and never synced: everything outside the shared client workspaces, plus each operator's own tool accounts and API keys.
- Priced per team, not per seat: the same price whether you are two people or twelve.

## robOS studIO (content-agent product)
- robOS studIO is a separate, finished product: a team of 9 content specialists (Blogger, Research, SEO, WebDev, Social, VideoProducer, Designer, Analytics, Security) running inside a robOS install on the customer's server, taking orders over Telegram or from VS Code and running on the customer's own Claude subscription.
- Each specialist delivers a file. Articles, landing pages, social posts and videos are checked by a separate session that did not write them; a failed check is explained and nothing is published.
- It never publishes on its own: with WordPress connected, an article that passes the check arrives as a draft. Videos have no voice-over; the script comes separately.
- The customer's robOS moves to the server and the agents run inside it; no second robOS stays on the laptop. Installation is done by RoboMarketing.

## robOS Skool (learning add-on)
- robOS Skool is the robOS community on Skool: lessons on getting the most out of robOS, and a place to ask questions. It has no page of its own on robos.vip; it appears on the add-on map.
- It is the only add-on sold as a subscription, monthly or yearly. The amount is not published yet.
- It changes nothing about the robOS setup and goes on top of any combination.

## How the products combine
- robOS is the brain. Team changes who shares it (several operators on shared clients), studIO adds agents that produce content.
- robOS + Team: yes, everyone keeps robOS on their own laptop. robOS + studIO: yes, by moving robOS to the server. How studIO combines with Team is agreed directly with Adrian. Skool goes on top of any combination.
